COBOLT SPEECHMASTER - TALKING FOOD THERMOMETER. 


The Talking Digital food Thermometer reads in either Centigrade or Fahrenheit and is backlit for ease of use.

The Talking food thermometer is designed to be used right handed. 
Place the curved plastic side in the right palm with the metal probe facing outwards to the left. The probe will be securely clipped in to a recess to avoid damage to the tip of the probe or injury to the user. Once the probe is unclipped the Thermometer will automatically turn on.

Once in the correct position use the left hand and gently pull outwards towards the left to release probe. Once released the probe is on a hinge. Push upwards until it is fully extended in a forward facing position.
Return your right fingers to where the probe was housed and there will be indentations to hold the thermometer when in use. Use any fingers that are comfortable but leave the thumb free to navigate the buttons.
Run the Thumb down the centre of the plastic casing here you will feel the digital display. 

Below this you will find 4 buttons in a Top, Right, Bottom Left  layout the functions are 
Top button - Speech Button
Right button (Not spoken) - Change between Centigrade and Fahrenheit 
Bottom button (Not spoken) - Manual on/off 
Left button - Turn on back light for 7 seconds.

The temperature reader on the probe is the top 1 inch and total length of the probe is 5 inches fully extended. Ensure that probe is fully inserted  in the thickest part of the food for accurate reading, Click the top voice button to hear the temperature.
Please ensure that the probe is cleaned after each use to avoid cross contamination between foods 
Once finished  return the probe to its clip. The user will hear a sold click. This automatically turns off the thermometer.
