Talking Mobile Flip Phone Text Only Instructions.

MENU INTRODUCTION: 

Write message - to input SMS/MMS and send it to a contact or number. 
Inbox - messages which were received. 
Outbox - messages which were not sent successfully. 
Drafts - draft messages. 
Sentbox - messages which were sent successfully. 
Templates - there are some templates SMS content preset, you can modify them as you need. 
Voice Mail Server - you can set the voicemail No. and other parameters here.
SMS settings - to set the parameters for SMS/MMS.
Message capacity - to check the capacity of SMS/MMS in phone and sim card. 

CALL LOGS 

Missed calls/Dialed calls/Received calls/Rejected calls - It shows missed calls/dialed calls/received calls/rejected calls history here. 
Delete all - You can delete all call history here. 

FM RADIO 

Press (OK) key to play/stop the FM radio, (RIGHT) or (LEFT) key for next or previous FM channel. Press (UP)/(DOWN) key or volume key in right side of the phone to adjust volumne. 
Press (LEFT - SOFT - KEY) to access 'Options' and you can get these; 
Auto Search and Save - to search and save the FM channels automatically. 
Channel List - To view all the channels which had been saved in the phone. You can play/edit/delete them as you need. 
Save - to save the current FM frequency to the channels list. 
Manual Search - to input an FM channel manually. 
Record - to record the FM radio show currently playing. 
Timing Record - to record an FM radio show as scheduled setting. 
Record file list - to view the recorded files. 
Storage - to set location for recording FM. 

TOOLS 
 
Bluetooth - You can connect to a bluetooth earphone/send files to other devices via this function. There are sub menu's as below: 
Bluetooth - To turn on/off the bluetooth function. 
Bluetooth visibility - To set bluetooth visible or not to other devices. 
Paired device - To search other bluetooth devices and pair with them.
Transferring files - to send files to other devices connected via bluetooth. 
Device name - to view or modify the bluetooth devices name. 
Bluetooth File Storage - to set the default location to save files via bluetooth transferring. 
Help - to view the help information. 

Torch - To turn on/off the torch light. 
Calculator - Press (UP)/(DOWN)/(LEFT)/(RIGHT) keys to select +,-,*,/, respectively. 
Alarm - to set up to 10 alarms. You can press (ALARM) key in idle mode to access this function directly. 
Calendar - To view the calendar and schedule events. 
World Clock - To view the local time for a different city, you can manually add new cities.
Internet - To access websites with this browser.
My Files - It lists all files stored on your micro SD card. 

MULTIMEDIA

Camera - In the preview interface, press (OK) key to capture a photo; press (UP) or (DOWN) keys to zoom in/out, press (LEFT-SOFT-KEY) to access options menu to set parameters for camera. 
Images - To view stored pictures in the phone or micro SD card. 
Video Player - When you open video player, it will search all video files in the micro SD card automatically. Press (OK) to play/pause, press (UP) or (DOWN) or volume key in right side of phone to adjust volume. Press (LEFT) or (RIGHT) for next/previous video. 
Audio Player - Press (OK) key to play/pause, press (UP) or (DOWN) key or volume key in right side of phone to adjust volume. Press (RIGHT) or (LEFT) key for next/previous audio file. 
Sound Recorder - Press (OK) key to record audio, press (LEFT-SOFT-KEY) to pause/continue to record. Press (RIGHT-SOFT-KEY) to stop and save the audio file. 

SETTINGS 

Call settings:
Dual Sim - to set parameter for dual sim. 
Flight mode - to enable "lfight mode" setting on phone. 
Flip to answer - Enabling this function allows you to answer incoming calls but unfolding the phone. 
Call forwarding - To set to divert an incoming call to another number when 'any condition' / 'busy' / 'no reply' / 'unreachable'. You can set or cancel the divert setting as needed. 
Call waiting - If you set the 'call waiting', the phone will inform you of new incoming calls when you are on a call. You can hold on the current call and answer another call. 
Call barring - This setting needs to be supported by network operator. For more details please contact your sim card provider. 
Hide ID - To hide yur phone number when making calls to others. 
Others (auto redial, vibration when connected, reply SMS after reject, auto record voice call) - auto redial causes phone to redial number if call wasnt answered, vibration when connected causes phone to vibrate with incoming calls, reply SMS after reject allows the phone to automatically set up an SMS after call is rejected, Auto record voice call records all phone calls. 

Phone settings:
Time & Date - to set the time and date parameter. 
Language setting - to set the language. 
Shortcut setting - to customise the shortcut for navigation keys as you need. 
Auto power on/off - to set the time for the phone to power on/off automatically. 
Restore Factory Settings - to restore all settings back to factory status. It need to input the phone password, default password is 0000. You can change the password. 

Display: 
Wallpaper settings - to change the wallpaper. 
Contrast - to set the contrast for the LCD.
Backlight - to set the time for the LCD backlight.  
Keypad backlight time - to set the time for the keypad backlight. 

Security: 
Phone locked - To enable/disable this function. If enabled, you need to input password to unlock phone, the default password is 0000. 
Modify privacy password - to change the phone password after inputting old password, the initial password is 0000. 
Blacklist - to set some contacts or numbers as blacklisted, this means they cannot make a call to you. 

Profiles:
There are 3 user profiles pre-set in the phone: Normal, Silent and Meeting. You can customise other profiles as you need. Use (UP) and (DOWN) key to choose profile and (OK) key to activate it. 
Add - to add a new user profile. 
Delete - to delete a customised user profile. The pre-set profiles cannot be deleted. 
Settings: - Rename - to modify the name of a profile 
                   Ring Settings - to change the ringtone for incoming calls. 
                   Adjust volume - To adjust the default volume level for caller. 
                   Ring Type - to change between 'Ringtone', 'vibrate', 'silent', 'vibrate then ring', 'ring and vibrate'. 
Connections - To set the parameter for network. 
SOS settings - Press the SOS key for 5 seconds then the phone will make an SOS alert/ make a call/ send an SMS to the SOS contacts. Use 'SOS Status' to enable/disable SOS function. Use SOS number to set up to 5 SOS contacts. use SOS message to set the SMS which will be sent to the emergency contacts. 

CONTACT

You can store contacts here. In the contact list, select a record, to make a call press the dial key. 
New - to create a new contact to phone or SIM card. 
Write message - to write a SMS/MMS to the contact. 
Call - to make a call to the contact. 
Delete - to delete a contact.
Delete multiple - to delete more contacts at the same time. 
Import/Export - to import contacts information from micro SD card or to export contacts information to micro SD card.
Send Vcard - to send a Vcard via SMS/MMS or bluetooth to others.
Others - Speed dial menu is to set or check speed dial numbers for keys 2-9. Memory status is to view the capacity for contacts in phone/sim card. 

COMMON METHOD OF OPERATION

Changing ringtone: Menu - Settings - Profiles - Options - Settings - Ring settings. 
Set 'flip to answer': Menu - Settings - Call settings - Flip to answer - Set on or off. 
Speed dial: Menu: Contacts - Options - Others - Speed dial - set number 2-9.
Changing Wallpaper: Menu - Settings - Display - Wallpaper settings. 
Write message: Menu - Message - Write message - New SMS. 
Set Alarm: Menu - Alarm or press alarm key in idle mode.
