Talking Analogue Alarm Clock Instructions To the right of the sloping front panel are two 4 position slide switches. The top one controls setting - fully right for alarm set, next position for time set, next for alarm off and fully left for alarm on. The bottom switch adjusts volume low to the left and high to the right. To the left of the switches are two small buttons. The upper one changes the hours in setting modes and the lower changes the minutes. Pressing the hour button with the alarm selected on will alter the alarm sound. The large operating button on the top of the case will cause the time to be announced or will turn the alarm off - it will sound again after 10 minutes. To cancel the alarm press the hour or minute buttons or select the top switch to the alarm off position. The analogue display is adjusted by means of the small disc in the top left corner of the battery compartment. The clock uses 4 x AA size batteries The cover is on the back of the case and can be removed by placing a fingertip in the recess one third of the way from the top of the case and levering it out. We strongly recommend the use of alkaline batteries for maximum life. Please note that the digital display will always agree with the speech but that the analogue display may not as it uses a separate and independent mechanism.
