T19 TALKING TRAVEL CLOCK When you first receive the clock the cover will be closed. On one side of the clock you will feel a belt clip and the other side will be mainly smooth. On the smooth side towards one end you will feel a lip, which opens. This is the cover of the clock which can also be used as a stand by allowing the cover to swing as far as it will go, crating a base for the clock. BUTTON LAYOUT: Under the display there are four buttons, from left to right these are SET (Time set mode, Alarm set mode and Time mode), HR (Hour), MIN (Min) and TALK. The top edge of the clock is also a TALK button, when pressed the time will be announced. This button can also be used when the cover is closed. TO SET THE TIME: In normal time display mode, press the SET button, you will hear 'Set time' and the time displayed will flash. Use the HR and MIN buttons to set the time, ensure the correct time of day is selected i.e. AM or PM. If no buttons are press, after 10 seconds the clock will exit set mode and you will hear a "dit" tone. TO SET THE ALARM: In normal time display mode, press the SET button twice, you will hear 'Set alarm time', the current alarm time displayed will flash and AL will be displayed. Use the HR and MIN buttons to set the alarm time, ensure the correct time of day is selected i.e. AM or PM. If no buttons are press, after 10 seconds the clock will exit set mode and you will hear a "dit" tone. ALARM ON/OFF AND SELECT ALARM SOUND: In normal time display mode, press HR button. This button allows you to choose between the three alarm sounds or Alarm off. When an alarm sound is selected the alarm is on and a bell will be displayed. To turn the alarm off, press the HR button until you hear 'Alarm Off'. STOPPING THE ALARM SOUND: To stop the alarm sound when the set time is reached press any button. HOURLY REPORT: In normal time node, press the MIN button. You will hear either 'Chime on' or 'Chime off'. When the hourly report is on a symbol will be displayed on the screen. REPLACING THE BATTERIES: Below the belt clip on the back of the clock you will feel a slight grooved section, slide this section towards the bottom of the clock. This will remove the battery compartment door. Remove the batteries which are currently in the compartment and replace with 2 x AAA Alkaline batteries. The new batteries need to be inserted with the flat end of the battery against the spring within the compartment. Ensure to replace the battery compartment door.
