Cobolt Speechmaster T10 Talking Alarm Clock On the base of the clock is a row of switches. With the clock held with these closer to the top, they are used as follows: Left switch - down for low volume, mid position for medium volume, up for high volume. Second switch - down to set time, mid position for normal operation, up to set the alarm. Third switch - actually two buttons. In setting modes the lower one is pressed to change the minutes and the upper to change the hours. Either of these buttons can be used to turn the alarm sound off. Right switch - down or mid position for alarm on, up for alarm off. The large button on the top of the pyramid shaped case is used to announce the time and to turn the alarm off for 10 minutes (snooze function). With the second switch in the mid position the hour setting button selects the tone, cuckoo or cockerel alarm sounds. The clock is powered by 4 x AA size batteries in the compartment in the base. The compartment can be removed by pulling it down with a fingernail from the recess just below the switches. We strongly recommend the use of alkaline batteries for maximum life. Modified 18/03/2020
