Cobolt Speechmaster Talking Keyring Instructions With the keyring held with the chain at the top left corner, the operating button is activated by pressing inwards on the top thin edge of the case. This causes the time to be spoken and switches the alarm to snooze. A shallow rectangular depression can be felt towards the top of the front face. The 3 setting buttons are at the lower edge of this. They are recessed and should be pressed gently with a blunt point such as a ball point pen. To alter settings, press the left button. The first press turns the alarm on - the centre button changes the sound. The second press enables the hours & minutes to be changed with the centre & right buttons. The third allows the alarm time to be changed. The fourth returns to normal operation, alarm off. If the speech button is pressed while setting the time the keyring will speak the time. If setting the alarm then it will say "ALARM' followed by the alarm time. When the alarm sounds it can be turned off by pressing the speech button. This selects the snooze function and the alarm will sound again in 10 minutes. To turn it off completely press either the hour or minute setting buttons. The keyring uses three LR44 silver oxide batteries, accessed by pressing the left front edge of the case. Sets of batteries are available from us for £2.00. We will replace the batteries in the keyring for £2.50. Modified 18/03/2020
