Talking Silver Keychain Instructions with sleep mode
On the front of the keychain you will feel a LCD 
display screen and a large rubber button underneath.  On the back you will feel three smaller rubber buttons.  From left to right these buttons are: MODE, HOUR, MINUTE.

To hear the time:  Press the large rubber button on the front of the keychain.

To set the time:  Turn the keychain over so the smaller buttons are accessible.  Press the MODE button you will hear ‘dit’ and the display will flash, indicating you are in time-set mode.  Use the HOUR and MINUTE button to adjust the time accordingly.  Once you have set the clock time, press the MODE button twice and you will hear ‘dit dit dit’, this will bring you out of the mode function and back to the time-display.

To set the alarm:  Press the MODE button twice, you will hear ‘dit dit’ and the display will flash and show AL.  Again use the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set the alarm time accordingly.
Once you have set the clock time or alarm time press the MODE button again and you will hear ‘dit dit dit’, this will bring you out of the mode function and back to the time-display.

To turn the alarm on/off:  In time-display, press the HOUR button.  If you hear ’dit, dit, dit’ followed by the set alarm time then the alarm is active, and a bell will be displayed.  If you hear ’dit’ then the alarm is off and the bell will disappear from the display.

To Enable/Disable the hourly report function: In time display press the minute button to turn the turn the hourly report on or off.  If you hear ‘dit, dit, dit,’ the hourly report is on and a symbol will be displayed.  If you hear ‘dit’ the hourly report is off, and the symbol will disappear from the display.

To set 12/24 hour format: In the time display mode press the MODE button to enter 12/24 hour setting mode. 12H or 24H flashes on the screen. Press HOUR (alarm on/alarm off) to set 12 hour or press MINUTE (HR Report) to set 24 hour. Repeatedly press the MODE button to return to the time display mode.

Sleep Mode: To enter sleep mode hold the MODE and 
TALKING button in for 3 seconds. (Please note doing this will reset the time to 12am). To remove from sleep mode hold in the Talking button for 3 seconds.

Changing the batteries:  This unit uses 2 x L1154 Lithium batteries. The batteries are accessed through the back of the unit, by unscrewing the two screws.  When this is required we recommend the unit be returned to us.  For a charge of  £2.50 we will change the battery, check the unit and set the time.  Batteries are also available for purchase at a cost of  £2.00 per set.
